Rookata is a puzzle game that runs entirely on your device. It has no user accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. This policy explains the little data the app touches and why.

Who we are

Rookata (the "app") is developed and published by Lewis Logic LLC ("we", "us"). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us using the details in the Contact section below.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your game data locally on your device only. This includes:

  • Your puzzle progress, completions, and streak.

  • Your settings, such as theme and which piece types are enabled.

  • A flag recording whether you have unlocked the paid features.

This information never leaves your device through us, is not linked to your identity, and is removed when you delete the app.

Purchases

Rookata offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks premium features. Purchases are processed by the app store you downloaded the app from — Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or receive your payment details (such as your card number).

To deliver your purchase and to support the "Restore Purchase" feature, we use RevenueCat, a purchase-management service acting as our data processor. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat may process:

  • The purchase receipt / transaction from Apple or Google, used to confirm your unlock.

  • An anonymous, randomly generated app-user identifier (not tied to your name or email).

  • Basic technical information such as device type, operating system, country, and IP address.

  • We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or location.

  • We do not show advertising.

  • We do not use analytics or third-party trackers.

  • We do not sell or share personal information with anyone.

Children's privacy

Rookata is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal data, no personal information from children is gathered.

Data retention and your choices

Game data lives on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. Purchase records held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat are retained by those services under their own policies. If you would like a purchase record associated with your device to be deleted, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to assist. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
